This course provides a definitive education on Enterprise Content Management (ECM). You will become familiar with all of the component technologies that comprise ECM including: imaging search, taxonomy, workflow, BPM, document management, records management, web content management, content publishing/content delivery and collaboration . You will also be provided a practical education on best practices in conducting a needs assessment for and implementing an ECM, based on the industry standard MIKE2 methodology. This course takes you beyond the marketing hype and exposes you to real-word best practices, including the potential role of Enterprise 2.0 and SharePoint in an ECM system.
